Hadassah

The History of the Petaluma Chapter of Hadassah dates back to the spring of 1946, when a small group of fourteen women gathered together and laid the plans for the foundation of the Petaluma Chapter of Hadassah with the help of the National Vice President.

Hadassah meets the fourth Wednesday of each month, September through May, for luncheon meetings. Propective members are always welcome to join and participate in the activities.

Sisterhood

The Sisterhood is an organization for women and serves as the right arm of the Center. Its  primary function is to help in the restoration of the synagogue.

We have general meetings every month and various activities throughout the year. Some of our annual activities are the B’nai Israel Jewish Center Hanukkah dinner and the second night Passover Seder.

Men’s Club

The Men’s Club of the B’nai Israel Jewish Center meets monthly on Sunday mornings for socialization and informative lectures. Membership fees are $36 a year.
