Sisterhood
The Sisterhood is an organization for women and serves as the right arm of the Center. Its primary function is to help in the restoration of the synagogue.

We have general meetings every month and various activities throughout the year. Some of our annual activities are the B'nai Israel Jewish Center Hanukkah dinner and the second night Passover Seder.

Men's Club Father's Day Brunch

Men's Club
The B'nai Israel Jewish Center Men's Club is a service organization dedicated to providing friendship and camaraderie for the men of the Jewish community and supporting the Center. We have no secret handshake, nor do we require members to take a solemn oath. Funny looking hats are strictly optional. You do not have to be religious to be a member of our group or attend the functions. All we ask is that you believe in fostering the social, cultural and intellectual growth of the Center and its place in the community.

One Sunday morning a month we gather to learn about topics of interest in our community from guest speakers, as well as discuss projects and events that the club can offer the Center and member families. Recent projects completed by our group include the 2nd Annual Kosher Cook-off Competition, hosting a community dance with live band, building a storage shed, conducting a CPR training course, and purchasing of an AED system for the Center. But we have also been known for getting together for sporting events (watching and participating); catching a concert or attending the theater; seeing movies; playing cards or pool; bowling; throwing darts; or just hoisting a few brews.

Hadassah
The History of the Petaluma Chapter of Hadassah dates back to the spring of 1946, when a small group of fourteen women gathered together and laid the plans for the foundation of the Petaluma Chapter of Hadassah with the help of the National Vice President.

Hadassah meets the fourth Wednesday of each month, September through May, for luncheon meetings. Propective members are always welcome to join and participate in the activities.
