Petaluma's Inclusive Center for Jewish Life

Hadassah

The History of the Petaluma Chapter of Hadassah dates back to the spring of 1946, when a small group of 14 women gathered together and laid the plans for the foundation of the Petaluma Chapter of Hadassah with the help of the National Vice President.

Hadassah is a women's Zionist organization founded in 1912 that inspires a passion for and commitment to its partnership with the land and people of Israel. Volunteers work to support medical care and research at the Hadassah Medical Organization in Jerusalem. Hadassah empowers its members and supporters, as well as youth in Israel and America through opportunities for personal growth, education, advocacy and Jewish continuity. Learn more about Hadassah here.

Our chapter meets the 4th Wednesday of each month, September through May, for luncheon meetings.

Prospective members are always welcome to join and participate in the activities.
