B'nai Israel Jewish Center welcomes your interest in our Center. As the oldest established Jewish community north of San Francisco, we have a diverse history, a wide range of programs that have something to offer to all who wish to participate.

BIJC welcomes all who wish to pursue connection to Jewish community, to the spiritual teachings of Jewish tradition, to Jewish cultural expressions and to Jewish educational experiences for adults, youth, and children.

Over the generations, the Petaluma Jewish community has experienced many changes. Today's B'nai Israel Jewish Center is a product of the past as well as manifestation of the present. The educational and spiritual components reflect the traditions and the yearnings of the people who choose to be involved. The cultural programs encompass the strivings to express what is uniquely Jewish about our lives in an American context. Our connections to Israel are strong, recognizing the vital role that Israel plays in the destiny of the Jewish people.
