Sonoma County Yom HaShoah Commemoration
Speaking Up and Standing Up

The annual county-wide Yom HaShoah commemoration is organized by Sonoma County Jewish Community Center. On this year's program, three local Holocaust survivors or descendants will share how they were helped by "upstanders" who did the right thing.

Musical performances; candle lighting by Jewish survivors; lighters for the Roma, gays and lesbians, the disabled, righteous Gentiles and political prisoners; and those targeted by genocide. Persons may include the names of loved ones who were victims of the Shoah in the Memorial Book.
